Pvt. Joseph Weir Andrew; Co. A, 85th Penn. Infantry; died 23Aug1917
The headstone was lower 2.5 inches, set on 10 x 12 x 2.5 inch dimensioned stone footing, leveled, and plumbed.

Due to subsidence and having intially been set too shallow, the headstone was tilted [ pitched ] backward ~ 9 degrees.
Joseph Weir Andrew enlisted as a Private 11Nov1861 at 22 years of age. JWA served 36 months in Company A of the 85th PENN INF; 11Nov1861 to 22Nov1864.

Joseph Weir Andrew was mustered out at Pittsburgh, Penn on 22Nov1864.
